Dynamic Contact Sheets
Creating a Dynamic Contact Sheet from a Sheet
The following video shows you how to create dynamic contact sheets and reference other items or entire sheets.
In the video:
• Dynamic contact sheets can display all variations in your project. They update automatically when a variation changes.
• Contact sheets are interactive: when you double-click an item in the contact sheet, it takes you to that variation.
• Point a contact sheet to an item or a whole sheet by clicking on the Dynamic icon in the top-right corner of its bounding box and dragging the cursor to the item/sheet you want to reference. All the variations of the selected item/sheet appear on the contact sheet.
• When referencing an entire sheet, the sheet background is also visible on the contact sheet. To disable this:
1. | Click the referenced sheet. |
2. | Go to the Display tab in the right dock and disable Background. |
