New Features

Vector Tool Enhancements

Further improving on the existing Vector Tools features, Colorway 6.0 adds the ability to add and remove points within existing shapes, and convert points into curves, for more creative capabilities within your project and workflows.

Material Libraries Preferences

Improved Material Library Preferences allow designers to easily enable the visibility of multiple material libraries, ensuring that designers utilize the current seasonal palette and have access to the materials they need for their creations.

New Sheet Enhancements

The New Sheet improvements allow for a more user friendly and in-project feel, when adding new sheets to Colorway projects designers are working on, allowing access to existing templates or creating new sheets with ease.

SVG Materials - Flat Mode

The same SVG, with the normal map still applied, but flattened.

Flat Mode enables designers to toggle the visibility of materials on SVG items within their Colorway projects, allowing for an improved aesthetic on designs by having the option to turn on/off the Bump Maps or Specular Highlights for given items.

Items Tree Enhancements

Improvements to the Items Tree allow designers to have more control over their projects, with the introduction of color coding of items which facilitates a smooth organization of complex setups, as well as an improved user experience for dragging and dropping materials and colors onto parts.

Export Enhancements

Improvements to the export functionalities within Colorway allows designers to have more control and ease over sharing their projects with enhancements to vectorized PDF and multipage/variation exports.

Tech Pack Enhancements - Group parts into Cells

Users can now group multiple DCI/SVG Parts in a single Dynamic Table cell for improved visualization of designs on tech packs and bills of materials sent to production.

Colorway Safe Mode

Colorway Safe Mode has been introduced to help designers tackle any performance or customization issues they have with Colorway on their machine- with projects can now be opened with default settings to troubleshoot any customization issues which may encountered.
