Other Software Requirements
Flix 5 requires a Web browser with Flash to run. Flix 5's performance highly depends on your network speed. The default Web browser for Flix is Google Chrome. When you start Flix 5 it opens the interface inside the default Web browser. If you want to change the default Web browser to Firefox you need to add the appropriate OS entry to flixApp/flixConfig/core/localParamters.yml
For example:
On OS X/macOS
browserCommandDarwin : 'open -a "Firefox"'
On Linux:
browserCommandLinux : 'firefox'
On Windows:
browserCommandWindows : 'start "" "firefox"'
See Launchers Parameters for more information.
