Application Menu

All menu-based controls are accessed in the tabbed menu. These controls can be displayed in VR by pressing the X or B buttons on respective controllers.

Index Trigger

The Index Trigger is used when adding/subtracting clay, as well as when painting onto the surface of the model. The trigger is pressure sensitive; this is optionally used to adjust the radius and/or strength of the tool being applied.

Thumbstick

The Thumbstick has multiple uses within Kanova. The following options are available:

Horizontal Side-to-side - When the command menu is not visible, moving the thumbstick horizontally (without clicking) changes the radius of the current tool.

Quadrants - When the commands menu is visible (A or X buttons), moving the thumbstick to the appropriate quadrant, and pressing down to click, executes the appropriate command under the menu. The menu will then close.

Middle Finger Trigger

The following grip options are available:

Single controller use - Pressing and releasing the middle finger trigger on one of the controllers attaches the scene to the controller. This allows you to reposition the scene as well as perform sculpting operations while grabbing the scene.
To leave this mode, press the middle finger trigger again.

Dual controller use - By simultaneously pressing and holding the middle finger trigger on both controllers, you can position, rotate, and scale either individual layers, the entire scene, or aspects of the camera position. For more information, see Colors and Layers.
To leave this mode, release both middle finger triggers again.

This button can be used to display the Steam system menu within VR.
