Random Range node
Access: Nodes > Math > Random Range
Outputs a deterministic random value scaled between the Min and Max node properties, based on a hash of the Seed input. Helpful for prop color variations or randomized tinting. For example you can use this node to give individual leaves on a forest floor a subtle tint or color variation to make the effect more textured.
| Input (Seed) | Output (RGBA) |
| 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.0 with Min=0.2 and Max=0.8 | 0.2, 0.2, 0.2, 1.0 (Interpolated minimum) |
| 1.0, 1.0, 1.0, 1.0 with Min=1.0 and Max=1.0 | 0.6277, 0.6277, 0.6277, 1.0 |
| 0.5, 0.5, 0.0, 0.0 with Min=0.5 and Max=0.5 | 0.5, 0.5, 0.5, 1.0 (Forced uniform output) |
