Determinant node
Access: Nodes > Math > Determinant
Computes the determinant of a 2x2 matrix packed into the RGBA channels of the input. Useful for measuring UV scaling distortion. For example, if the output is negative, this means the UV map has been flipped/mirrored.

Input |
A four-channel value used as a 2×2 matrix |
Determinant node outputs

Output |
Interprets the RGBA channels as the four entries of a 2×2 matrix (R=top-left, G=top-right, B=bottom-left, A=bottom-right) and outputs its determinant on all three RGB channels. |
