Saving Your Project

To save your Nuke Stage project:

1.

Go to File > Save Project. If it is the first time saving the project, a file location window will appear. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S to open the window, or click the save icon () in the Project Graph.

Go to File > Save Project As… to save a new version of your project (renamed or in a different format).

Choose the file location and input the file name.

Choose the Files of type:

• (*.nks *.json): Saves the project in JSON serialization format.
• (*.nksbin): Saves the project in binary serialization format.

Click Save.

Note:   If you try to close a project that has unsaved changes, a popup will appear asking if you want to save before closing.

Once you have made the initial save of your project, use Ctrl+S or File > Save Project to save any new changes to the existing file.
