Creating Cues
Cues allow you to change the behavior and position of the current frametime.
To create a new cue:
| 1. | Right-click the frametime bar at the top of the sequencer. |
| 2. | Click Add cue, or press K with the mouse over the cuesheet. |
| 3. | Select one of the options: |
- Label - Creates a reference label.
- Play - Begins playing.
-
Pause - Pauses playback, keeping the paused image on the displays.
-
Stop - Stops playback and sets frametime back to zero. Shows black on RenderNode displays.
-
Jump - Jumps to any other cue (including disabled cues). Choose from the following jump types:
- Frametime - jump to a specific frametime.
- Named cue - jump to another cue.
- Previous cue - jump to the previous cue, if there is one.
- Next cue - Next cue - jump to the next cue, if there is one.
You can edit the cue using the following techniques:
• Change frametime - Drag the cue along the sequencer to change the frametime. Alternatively, edit the value of Relative frametime in the cue’s properties panel.
• Change Cue type - Change the type of the cue in the properties panel.
• Enable/Disable - when Enabled is unchecked, the cue behavior is ignored. You can still jump to a disabled cue.
