Preferences

It is possible to customize your project preferences in Nuke Stage.

Go to Edit > Preferences (or Alt+Return) to open up the Preferences panel. The left-hand tree-view panel displays all available settings. Click on the desired setting to open up the preference options for that setting.

You can restore all default settings by clicking the button Restore defaults.

The Preferences dialog is divided into the following sections:

Settings for start up and file handling.

Settings for the Node Graph and viewers.

Group sequences

Sets whether to group file sequences in the file browser.

Start-up

Show splash screen

When enabled, shows the splash screen on start-up.

Panels

Node Graph

Draw grid

When enabled, draws the background grid.
Edge style Defines how the edges between nodes should be drawn. Choose between Curved and Straight.
Snap to grid If enabled, node positions will be snapped to a grid.
Colours Specify the colors of the node types.

Image Viewer

Auto-select texture

If enabled, the first available texture will automatically be selected in the Image Viewer.

Clear Colour

The background color for the Image Viewer panel.

Viewport

Clear colour

The background color for the Viewport panel.

Timeline

Frame step size

How many frames to step at a time in the timeline.

Label mode How to define labels on the timeline. Either Timecode, Frame number or No Labels.

Properties

Objects displayed

The maximum number of objects to display in the properties panel.

Licensing

License Server

IP address

IP address for license server.

Port Port for license server.
