Configuring Visibility with the Variables Panel

The Variables panel is a convenient way to expose a tailored list of variables.

You can find this by selecting the Tabs icon > Windows > Variables.

1.   To set the variables that you wish to include, first navigate to the Variables tab in Project Settings.
2.   In Project Settings, toggle on or off the variable visibility on using the eye icon. The eye icon signifies that the variable will appear in the Variables panel, as in the example below.

You can see here that with the visibility eye icon present, the ‘Shot’ variable appears in the Variables panel.

This provides an easy way to work with different shots, or to interact with any other variable previously set up.

Tip:  Whilst having an overview of all possible variables is a necessary and powerful tool for setting up a Multishot sequence, this level of detail may not be necessary when working on a specific subset of shots in that sequence. The Variables panel lets you toggle variable visibility to help you work more efficiently.
