Upgrading

To upgrade Flix 5:

1.

Download a new build.

2.

Navigate to [FLIX_ROOT]/flixApp/builds and unzip the new build.

3.

In the [FLIX_ROOT]/flixApp/builds directory, edit the flix_web.release.txt file to point to the right build directory, for example: flix_web_5.4v2.0001.

Note:  For studio installs only:
• If you are using a symlink for flix_web.release, also point it to the new build.
• For studio installs only: Restart the services on every virtual machine, see Installing and Managing Services.
