avidMaintainStillsTiming

The avidMaintainStillsTiming parameter is set to 0 by default, meaning there is no change in behavior with previous version by default.

avidAutoGeneratePDF

1

Generates a .pdf file of the new sequence when publishing to Avid. The .pdf file is linked from the generated e-mail, which notifies Editorial of the new sequence.

Set to 0 to disable the avidAutoGeneratePDF parameter.

avidImportFolderDarwin

avidImportFolderWindows

avidImportFolderLinux

none

Upon publishing to Avid, automatically imports AAF and ALE files in the folder you specify.

Example folder path on macOS: /Users/john.smith/Desktop/avid_import

colorCorrectionFromAvid

0

In its most recent versions, Avid changed the way it renders .mov files and the refs Flix 5 creates out of them are slightly faded out.
As a workaround, when exporting using the Scale from Legal to Full Range option, set the colorCorrectionFromAvid parameter to 1, or when exporting using the Keep as Legal Range option, leave the colorCorrectionFromAvid parameter set to 0.
