E-mail Parameters

To ensure a good communication between you and Foundry, configure your e-mail parameters by setting the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server, and the e-mail templates.

SMTP Server Parameters

Parameter	Default Value	What It Does	Notes
smtpServer	http://flixaccess.com/cloud/mail	Specifies Flix 5's cloud-based e-mail system.	smtp.foundry.com
smtpUseTLS	0	Enables the TLS.	In most cases, the TLS protocol only needs to be enabled if you are required to log in the SMTP server.
smtpUsername	none	Sets your credentials.	For example: user@example.com
smtpPassword	none		For example: 000password

Flix 5 E-mail Templates

To help in filtering and keeping the e-mail subjects clear, you need to set e-mail templates. The templates are used for all e-mails sent from Flix 5.

emailSubjectPrefix	AM:Flix
emailSupport	flix-admins@[domain]	Sends e-mail errors to your internal Support department.	Leave the following parameter as is, flix-admins@[domain] being the default value. You can send e-mails to multiple addresses, simply separate the e-mail addresses with a comma.
