Getting Help

Flix 5 features several forms of help, in a variety of locations.

Viewing Tooltips

Most controls offer concise instructions in the form of tooltips. To display the tooltips, move your mouse pointer over an interface control or a node parameter.

Help page

If you can’t find what you need in this Online Help, there are other sources of help available to you for all aspects of Flix 5 and its operation.

To access the different video tutorials and other online resources go to the Help page:

1.   Click the Help button at the bottom-right corner of the application.

The Help page displays.

OR

1.   Click on the Flix Project Browser button.

The Project Browser dialog opens.

2.   Click on the Help button.

The Help page displays. You can now access the Online Help, video tutorials, and online resources.

About Flix 5

To access the About Flix 5 information, go to the Help page:

1.   Click the Help button at the bottom-right corner of the application.

The Help page displays the About Flix information.

OR

1.   Click on the Flix Project Browser button.

The Project Browser dialog opens.

2.   Click on the Help button.

The Help page displays the About Flix information.

Contacting Customer Support

Should questions arise that the documentation fails to address, you can contact Customer Support directly through the Support Portal at the following address: https://support.foundry.com.

You can also contact the Customer Support team directly through Flix 5 on the Help page:

1.   Click the Help button at the bottom-right corner of the application.

The Help page displays.

OR

1.   Click on the Flix Project Browser button.

The Project Browser dialog opens.

2.   Click on the Help button.

The Help page displays.

3.   Click on Contact Support.

The Support page displays.

4.   Fill out the following fields.
5.   Click on Submit.

Your support ticket has been submitted.
