Adding and Removing Layer Groups
To add one or more layer groups:
1. | Do one of the following: |
From the Layers menu, select |
or from the Layers palette, click |
or right-click on any layer in the Layers palette and select |

If you chose to add an empty layer group, this group is added as a new layer/folder in the Layers palette, above any other layers in the layer stack.
If you chose to group existing layers together in the layer stack, you must have one or more layers selected.
2. | To add new layers to an empty layer group, select one or more layers: |

You can also simply drag existing layers into the group.
Alternatively, once you’ve added a layer to the group, select any layer within it and Add New Layer.
3. | All layers within a group maintain any component icons associated with them. The group parent layer has a folder icon to distinguish it as the layer group. |
To remove one or more layer groups:
