Star

The Star primitive is a closed star-shaped Bezier or Polyline curve. The Bezier type is equivalent to a curve made by the Bezier tool. The Polyline type is a connected sequence of line segments.

Note:  You can fill the shape using the Curve Fill tool.

Star Properties

Circle

Enable

Toggles the primitive.

Type

Selects the curve type:

• Bezier - Draw using Bezier curve control points.

• Polyline - Draw using a connected series of lines.

Position X, Y

Sets the X, Y position along the plane defined by Axis.

Size X, Y

Sets the width and height.

Scale

Sets the scale of the distance of the inner points compared to the outer points. At 100% the primitive will result in a regular polygon that has twice the number of sides given by Sides.

Sides

Sets the number of arms for the star, in other words, the number of outer points.

Axis

Chooses the plane on which to draw the star:

• X - Align to the YZ plane.

• Y - Align to the XZ plane.

• Z - Align to the XY plane.
