Encryptomatte

Encryptomatte creates new mattes that can be added to an existing set of Cryptomatte-encoded mattes in Nuke.

Sets how the incoming matte is named when added to the exisiting set of mattes:

auto - the name of the matte source node is used. For example, Roto1.

manual - enter the matte name manually using the matteName control.

When Matte Name is set to manual, enter the name for the new matte here.

Merge Operation

Sets the compositing mode that controls how the new matte is merged with the existing set.

The new matte behaves in the same way as the A input of a standard Merge node and the existing matte set behaves in the same way as the B input.

Cryptomatte Layer

Sets the layer to which the new matte is added. You can also select none to have the matte added separately or new to add the matte to new layer.
