Working with Variables
We have developed a native variable-enabled workflow that supports Multishot compositing, adding ways to make workflows more efficient, reliable and scalable.
The links below take you to pages outlining each of these features, and explaining how they can help with workflows managing multiple shots at once.
Variable features:
• Using Variables in a Multishot Context
How Variables can unlock more flexible workflows across multiple shots.
• Configuring Visibility with the Variables Panel
Easily view and manage Variables in different configurations.
• VariableSwitch Node in a Multishot Context
Switch between Variables seamlessly, enabling and disabling them across multiple shots.
• Using the VariableGroup Node
A way to group Variables, organising, and speeding up Variable usage.
Other features you may find useful for multishot workflows:
• Viewing Grouped Nodes with Group View
View and edit nodes contained within Groups in the context of the main node graph.
• Using Link Nodes
A quick way to edit two or more of the same node at once, useful in large node graphs.
Tip: Using Using Variables in a Multishot Context is a good place to get started.
