Time Nodes

Time nodes deal with distorting time (that is, slowing down, speeding up, or reversing clips), applying motion blur, and performing editorial operations like slips, cuts, splices, and freeze frames.

Add 3:2 pulldown

Converts 24 fps film to 29.97 fps interlaced video.

AppendClip

Splices or joins clips head-to-tail, allowing action to flow from shot to shot.

FrameBlend

Interpolates between frames rather than copying them for smoother motion.

FrameHold

Selects a single frame to use for every frame of the input clip.

FrameRange

Sets the frame range for the input clip.

Kronos

Calculates motion vectors to slow down or speed up footage.

NoTimeBlur

Prevents nodes downstream from asking for fractional or multiple frames.

OFlow

Calculates motion vectors to slow down or speed up footage.

Remove 3:2 pulldown

Removes 3:2 pulldown from the input footage.

Retime

Retimes clips to slow down or speed up playback.

SmartVector

Calculates SmartVectors for use with the SmartVector Tool Set.

TemporalMedian

Applies a temporal median filter to the input clip.

TimeBlur

Simulates edge smear on fast moving objects to match motion blur.

TimeClip

Offsets the input clip in time or reverses the playback direction.

TimeEcho

Merges multiple frames from the input into a single frame.

TimeOffset

Offsets the input clip forwards/backwards in time.

TimeWarp

Retimes the input clip without altering its overall length.

VectorGenerator

Creates images containing motion vector fields.

VectorToMotion

Converts SmartVectors to motion, forward, and backward channels.
